Comet Holmes
"What if it all means something?"

Look,
up in the sky. It's a star, it's an omen. It's Comet Holmes.
The Holmes Comet erupted out of obscurity in late October, just as Pluto crossed the Galactic Center for the third and final time for another 248 years. Since then, the cloud of space dust surrounding the comet has expanded rapidly, and Comet Holmes, including coma, is now the largest object in our solar system.
Back in 2005, crop formations in Europe predicted this phenomenon, portraying both the explosion and the location within the constellation Perseus where it would occur. Check out the images for yourself at the link below. Whoever or whatever creates crop circles seemed to be saying, more than two years ago, "Pay attention to this."
Comets signify cycles. There's talk that this one could be the "Bluestar Kachina" prophesied by the Hopi of North America that will signal the beginning of the Fifth World, or world age. Maybe. Until we hear from the Hopi, this is conjecture. We do know the end of the Mayan calendar is near, as well as a 26,000-year precessional cycle and a 2,000-year astrological age. Vast cycles are ending and new cycles beginning, pretty much all at once.
So it seems the unexpected explosion of an obscure comet at this particular time, with a foreshadowing in the mysterious language of crop circles, means something. What does it mean to you? Try communing with this celestial being at night. Look for it in the northern sky after sunset, in the constellation Perseus. It's actually visible all night by the unaided eye, although binoculars and telescopes will help bring it into focus. Viewing details are available at the link below.
Throughout 2007, we've experienced an awe-inspiring series of celestial alignments leading up to a showdown of cosmic fireworks in December. Anything is possible as a cosmic beam of Divine Love from the heart center of our galaxy infuses the Earth, focused through the lenses of Pluto, Jupiter, Mercury and the Sun. Stay (at)tuned!

Hopi Prophecy
Is
the appearance of Comet Holmes the fulfillment of Hopi Prophecy? Is this
the Bluestar Kachina?
These are big questions with no simple answers.
The Hopi of North America are spiritual mentors to many around the world. They live peacefully in northern Arizona in the homes and villages of their Ancestors. They continue the ancient ceremonies that they believe help to hold the world in balance, an increasingly significant act of faith and devotion.
Their prophecies speak of the Great Purification, a time of sweeping changes as the Fourth World disintegrates and we emerge into a shiny new Fifth World to begin again. That time is now. This rebirthing - the Purification - can be traumatic, and also brimming with life-affirming possibilities.
In recent years, the Hopi have shared some of their teachings with non-Natives, and they have appealed to the United Nations to end greed-based, natural resource-depleting ways of life that no longer serves humanity's evolution or the Earth's survival.
The Hopi care deeply for all beings and this planet. Their prophecies are sacred and private, and it is their role to interpret their own teachings. There are precious few traditional Hopi still alive today to share their wisdom. When it is time, they will.
Thanksgiving
Blessings
flow to us on the waves of creation, shaped by our thoughts, focused through
our prayers and intentions. As the Moon waxes to full this week, we honor
all of creation, the precious gifts of this existence - the children,
the animals, the mountains and deserts, the oceans, forests and streams,
the plant kingdom, the sustenance created for our bodies through the alchemy
of Earth and Sky.
In these times of accelerated change, expressing gratitude grows more important each day. In the teachings of the Native people of North America, every step, every breath, every thought is a prayer, and most of these should be prayers of thanksgiving. As the Moon waxes to full, we celebrate and give thanks for the many forms of abundance in our lives.
Daylight recedes as Solstice approaches. This is a season of remembrance, a time of reflection. We open to the new world emerging from within. Breathe peace. Give thanks. Remember union.

Mayan
Council
Elders are traveling from around the world to visit with a special council of Mayan Elders in Guatemala as they consider the Mayan calendar and prophecies and bring their findings to the public.
Through the Institute for Cultural Awareness, Adam Yellowbird is coordinating logistics and funding for this gathering and has requested financial support for the elders who wish to be with the Maya for this historic gathering.

The
River
Perhaps you have read this message before. It's been circulated and posted on the Internet many times in recent years. It seems especially appropriate on the waxing Full Moon of Thanksgiving.
From the Hopi Elders:
You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered...
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.
See who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in our history we are to take nothing personally. Least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word "struggle" from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are all about to go on a journey.
We are the ones we've been waiting for!
